Description	1 image. Discovered Fossil, 22 April 1952. Discovered Fossil (uncovered by a sewer trenching machine at CBS TV City now under construction at Beverly Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue). Doctor Thomas Clements (Head of Geology Department at University of Southern California); King Tyler (CBS Executive Engineer of the TV Building).; Supplementary material reads: "#7: Dr. Thomas Clements, left, seen with King Tyler, CBS executive engineer in charge of Television City. #67: Dr. Thomas Clements, seen at left, head of the Geology Department, University of Southern California, today identified fossils uncovered by a sewer trenching machine at CBS Television City now under construction at Beverly Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue as relics of the ice-age. He is seen showing an elephant tusk which he describes as 50,000 years old and probably from the Mastodon variety to Jack Ogden, center, superintendent in charge of construction for William Simpson Co., and King Tyler , CBS executive engineer of the $12 million TV temple".
