(Hand out).; Supplementary material reads: "News Bureau. United Air Lines. Madison 6-8060. Caption info for enclised [sic] raw neg. Sister Francine Lepicard, superioress general of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, arrived here late today (Tues.) aboard a United Air Lines plane from San Francisco on the second lap of her around-the-world trip that started last week in Paris. Sister Lepicard, who governs more than 40,000 sisters that go to make-up the order of the Daughters of Charity throughout the world, will visit five institutions in the Los Angeles area that will include Maryvale, St. Vincent's Hospital, Our Lady of Talpa School, the Marian School and St. Vincent's School for Handicapped Children. The Superioress General was met by more than 100 sisters from her order and French Consul Jean Ortoli. ##### L-R Sister Mary Thomas, St. Vincent's Hospital, greets Sister Lepicard on arrival while Sister Mary Fidelis, St. Vincent's Hospital looks on".
