"Courthouse ¿ Already lagging more that 15 years behind the county's population gains, facilities for handling the county's vast volume of official and legal transactions would be provided by a new courthouse and office building, bonds for which will be submitted to the voter's at next Tuesday¿s election. New structure, envisioned here in artist's sketch, would be erected in the Los Angeles Civic Center" -- typed note attached to verso. Verso dated, "August 23, 194[6]".
