After a brief Los Angeles visit, a trio of Philippine Republic officials en route to Europe are seen aboard TWA Constellation by Philippine Consul. L-R: Thomas Morato, Philippine Congressman from Quezon Province; Jose Avelino, en route to Rome to relieve post of Ambassador to Italy; Manuel Alzate, new Minister to Rome; and Sofronio Abrera, Los Angeles consul. The Philippines Officials crossed the Pacific via Philippine Air Lines. Ambassador Avelino formerly served as Ambassador-at-Large and as President of the Philippine Senate. Senor Alzate was formerly Consul in Sydney, Australia and in Honolulu".
