Baugh, secretary of the Alumni Association; and C.G. Cooley, Western regional director of the Purdue Alumni Association arrived in Los Angeles today (Thursday afternoon) via United Air Lines on a 6000 mile, 24 city air tour of Midwest--West and South. The Purdue officials will remain in Los Angeles through the week end and will meet with civic, educational and industrial leaders of Los Angeles. Following the Los Angeles meetings, the visiting University executives will fly to San Diego, Phoenix, Albuquerque, El Paso, San Antonio and return to the Purdue campus at Lafayette, Indiana, March 23rd.
