"The new million-dollar home of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce at 404 South Bixel Street, built from the architectural designs of Earl T. Heitschmidt, F.A.I.A., who has designed some of the Southland's best-know structures. The 46,000 square foot structure is on two levels and has been designed and decorated around the Southern California theme. There is a central patio shielded from the sun by an egg-crate overhead and sun louvres on the east and west sides of the building. A week-long dedication will commence September 11th." -- typed note attached to verso.; Streetscape.
