Description	Photograph of a scale model. "Dramatic 26 story building at left, tallest building slated for construction in Los Angeles, emphasizes scope of huge Barrington Plaz apartment project on Wilshire Boulevard in West Los Angeles. Selection of contractors from sealed bidding competition was made over wek-end by B.C. Deane Co., owner and developer. Low bidding joint venture firm of Johnson, Drake & Piper, Inc., Minneapolist, and M.J. Brock & Sons, Los Angeles, was accepted, with construction bid of $13,750,000. Wilkes-Nichols & Associates" -- typed photograph caption attached to verso, dated 27 March 1960. "Barrington contractors selected -- The B.C. Deane Co., Van Nuys, has announced the selection of a joint venture firm of contractors to construct its huge Barrington Plaza apartment project, to be located in West Los Angeles at Wilshire Boulevard and Barrington Avenue. -- Selection of low bidding"... -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 10 April 1960.
