Description	Photograph of the Flag Ceremony in the Hearing Room of the Los Angeles County Hall of Administration. "First Order of business -- Taking part in Flag ceremony in new hearing room, are from left, Supervisor Frank Bonelli, Mrs. James Hughes, George Gillespie, Supervisor Kenneth Hahn and Naftali Sanchez" -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated, "Wednesday, November 2, 1960".; "The spanking new Hall of Administration acquired that "lived on" look Tuesday as the Board of Supervisors met for the first time in the huge hearing room of the $25,000,000 structure. Opening the session were two blind veterans, Naftali Sanchez and George M. Gillespie. The men raised an American Flag and a California bear Flag. The flags, given by the Los Angeles County Council of the American legion, were presented in the name of the James L. Hughes, whose widow was present. Sanchez is a Korean War veteran. Gillespie fought in World War II" -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated, "Wednesday, November 2, 1960".; Streetscape. Horizontal photography.
