Description	Photograph. "Former Los Angeles Orphanage residents Miss Jeanne Wheeler, center, and Mrs. Helen Smith, right, praise the orphanage food as 'as tasty in our day' during a visit to the institution in their campaign to unite former residents to aid the home's lagging building fund appeal. The Orphanage is seeking $750,000 to replace the present structure which is becomeing unsafe and must be abandoned.
