In addition, it will house the County Clerk, the Clerk of the Municipal Court, the Marshal of the Municipal Courts, and the Civil Division of the Sheriff's Office. Construction is expected to be completed about the end of 1957. The total cost of the building will be approximately 20 million dollars exclusive of land. This building is being constructed from County funds which have been accumulated over a period of about 10 years. Approximately 8 million dollars is still required to complete and furnish the building, of which four million dollars is included in the 1856-57 budget, and the balance will be provided in 1957-58 " -- typed note attached to verso.
