Adams of Hooker, Oklahoma, reversed the old saying 'over the hills to grandma's house' when she decided to take her first flight via TWA Skycoach to greet part of her large family in Glendale, California for Thanksgiving Day. Her grandson, Pvt. Welles Adams of the Marine Corps, accompanied her on the trip. Upon arrival in Los Angeles early today, she was met by two of her 18 greatchildren, Bruce (8 yrs old) and Jim (5 yrs. old) MacVicar of 1313 Justin, Glendale, where Mrs. Adams will stay for the holidays. Also on hand was the boy's mother, Mrs. Robert MacVicar, who is another of Mrs. Adams grandchildren of which there are fourteen. Three of her six children, Mrs. Bessie Woods, 1308 N. Central, Glendale; Mrs. Faye Higgenbotham, 704 C N. Orange, Glendale and Mrs. Eunice Eddington of Van Nuys were also at the airport reunion. Left to right: Mrs. C. C. Adams; Pvt.
