A poster dedicated to the idea that most of the Soviet professionals should not stay in the offices, instead, they should join workers and miners in factories and mines. Caption on top reads, "Vasha lampa, tovarishch inzhener! / Ваша лампа, товарищ инженер!", meaning, "Here's your lantern, comrade engineer!". Captions at the bottom read, "Delo chesti sovetskikh specialistov -- otdat' svoi opyt i znaniia sotsialisticheskomu proizvodstvu. Iz kanceliarii -- v shaxtu, na uchastok! / Дело чести советских специалистов -- отдать свои опыт и знания социалистичскому производству. Из канцелярий -- в шахту, на участок!", meaning, "It's a matter of honor for the Soviet professionals to dedicate their experience and knowledge to the socialist economy. Leave your offices, go to the mines!". |
