(RI). - Bildlegende im Album: "Odumase. - Diese Station, 18 Stunden von der Küste entfernt, wurde im Jahre 1859 gegründet. Sie befindet sich am Fuss des Akwapem-Gebirges, in der mit wunderschönen Palmenwäldern bedeckten Krobo-Ebene. Diese Palmen, aus dessen Nüssen das Palmöl - ein Hauptexportartikel - gewonnen wird, sind der Reichtum der Gegend."
