Description	Note: Phot. Zürcher.; Note translation: Judging by our internal archive system this file will only in exceptional cases have photographs from earlier than the return of the Basel Mission to Cameroon after the First World War. Indeed, the documentation indicates that the file contains almost exclusively photographs taken by the missionary Wilhelm Zürcher after his first arrival in Cameroon in 1932. However Wilhelm Zürcher worked in Cameroon also after 1945, so some photographs whose acquisition date lies after 1945 may turn out also to have been taken after that year (PJ 05.2001).
