"C C Hickling to Dr Alice Sibree". Wedding group portrait on steps of church, Hong Kong.; Alice Sibree was born in Madagascar, daughter of the LMS missionary, James Sibree. She studied at the London School of Medicine for Women and was appointed to the Maternity Hospital Hong Kong. She returned to England and resigned from the LMS in 1909, later returning to Hong Kong to carry out voluntary medical mission work both before and after her marriage to C C Hickling. She was made a member of the Order of the British Empire for her services during the war and received the decoration of Sister of the Order of St John of Jerusalem. She died in Hong Kong in September 1928.
