He travelled widely and visited Madagascar between 1912 and 1914, publishing Madagascar, Land of the Man-eating tree in 1924. A number of the prints in this album are reproduced in this title. The album comprises prints, mainly printing-out paper, either taken by or collected by Osborn. The album is inscribed "This album was made by natives of Madagascar. The bark of the "Tati" was used for the cover".
