Aagot Kjeldseth was a missionary in Madagascar from 1896-1907. She was a teacher at Antsahamanitra Girls' School from 1896-1898. In 1898 she married Thomas Joergensen 1874-1957.; Antsahamanitra Girls' School was established in 1872 by Johanna Borchgrevink 1836-1924 and led by her until 1912. Hundreds of Malagasy girls were taken care of and given education during this long period.
