Description	"Hängemattenreise von Katunga nach Mandala 1893. [V.l.n.r.:] Miss Woodward, Mr Smith, Miss Palmer, Schw. Kunick-Meyer" ("Hammock journey from Katunga to Mandala 1893. [From left to right:] Miss Woodward, Mr. Smith, Miss Palmer, Sister Kunick-Meyer"). Travel party on a path in a forest. An unknown European and two Africans standing on the very left side. Next to them Miss Woodward and Mr. Smith. In the middle Miss Palmer in a hammock carried by two African men. On the right side Mrs. Kunick-Meyer in a hammock carried by four Africans. Three other African men standing next to them.; Cf. photo no. 6161, box. no. Nyassa 1. -- Parts of the photo have been mended with black-and-white paint. -- The uncertainty about the date of the photo being taken is due to the date given for photo no. 289, box. no. Nyasa 1 being the year 1894 instead of 1893 as stated for this photo.
