"Ein Inderladen mit Indern davor. (Zu Moshi mag es wohl 6-8 solcher Inderläden geben.)" ("An Indian store with Indians in front of it. (Near Moshi there might be 6-8 of these Indian stores.)"). The store itself is in the background, the interior is too dark to see any goods. Three adult men are sitting in front of the store .The one on the right wears a turban. In between the men three children, one older girl and two babies of whom at least one seems to be another girl. On the right partly in the shade an older African(?) boy.; The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
