Title	Inside of the chapel near Mamba, view of the north side, Mamba, Tanzania, ca.1901-1908
Description	"Steinkapelle in der Landschaft Mamba, Inneres, Nordseite" ("Stone chapel in the landscape Mamba, inside, north side"). The inside of a chapel. Wooden benches in front of a white wall with an inscription. It reads: "Yesu Kristo ny atsie isiga ikyo kirekie nekikira. Luka 19.10." Probably a text from the Bible. On the right a door.; Cf. photo no. 267. -- The inscription might be in Kichagga, a Bantu language spoken by the Chagga in Tanzania. -- The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
