Title	Baptism of Arnold Blumer(?), Arusha, Tanzania, 1919
Description	"Taufe eines Missionarskindes" ("Baptism of a child of a missionary"). In front of the church. Thirteen European women and children and missionary Blumer(?) standing in front of the church. A dog next to them. The church building and watching African persons in the background.; Cf. photo no. 232, album no. 19 and photo no. 694 in the estate of Leonhard Blumer. For the church building cf. photo no. 21(687), album no. 2. -- Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
