Der Ausblick vom Nettur-Hügel den Fluss nach Südosten hinauf; der Fluss ist gerade in der Fluth u. bewässert zu beiden Seiten die von schlanken Palmen umsch... [Entzifferung unklar] Reisfelder." (3. Quartalsbericht 06.10.1860: 5).; Note translation: "No. 40 [QC-30.016.0034]. This picture is really no less interesting and delightful than the panorama made of numbers 35-38. We are looking south-east from the little hill at Nettur. The river is in flood [or: it is high tide?] and waters the rice fields bounded[??] by slim palm-trees on both sides."
