In this way the congregation could keep their old church at least till the walls of the new one were erected."; Annotation: "HB [Heidenbote] 1938(7). Um die alte Wellblechkirche herum werden die Mauern der neuen Kirche aus Zement & Steinen gebaut. Auf diese Weise behielt die Gemeinde das alte Gotteshaus bis die neue Kirche im Rohbau fertig war."; Stamped: "Museum der Basler Mission, Basel, Missionsstrasse 21."
