Description	Annotation translation: "The wealthiest man in Kishong, actually a man from Bamum, was treated by Mrs Zürcher and was asked to provide a bundle of wood in payment. With a typical gesture he is regretting his deep poverty in this picture. The man is also in charge of accomodation [literally: the father of the inn] in the Zongo of the Hausa."; Annotation: "Der reichste Kishonger, eigentlich ein Bamum-Mann war von Frau Missionar Zürcher behandelt worden & sollte als Bezahlung ein Bündel Holz bringen. Mit typischer Geste bedauert er hier seine völlige Armut. Der Mann ist zugleich der Herbergsvater im Zongo der Haussa."; Stamped: "Museum der Basler Mission, Basel, Missionsstrasse 21."
