Chronology (English) |
March 20, 1867 – born the twelfth and last child of the well known historian Sergei Solov’ev, rector of Moscow University; 1880’s – studied in the School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture under I. Prianishnikov and V. Polenov. She later provided the illustrations for all of her books; 1885 – her debut with a poem in the journal “Niva”;. 1895 – her poems signed with the pseudonym “Allegro” appear in the journal “Russkoe bogatstvo” (she later described them as unsuccessful); 1899 – her first collection “Stikhotvoreniia” (Poems) published, after which she began to take an active part in literary life of the capital, attended the famous literary “Fridays” at the poet K. Sluchevskii’s, and she associated with Symbolist writers; 1906-1913 – she published the children’s journal “Tropinka” (The Path), together with N. I. Manaseina, and later established a publishing house of the same name; 1900-1910 – the publication of here collections of poetry “Inei” (Hoarfrost) (1905), “Plakun-trava” (Willow-Herb) (1909), “Vecher” (Evening) (1914), a book of stories “Tainaia Pravda” (Secret Truth) (1912), and the verse tale “Perekrestok” (Crossroads) (1913); 1916-1923 – lived in Koktebel’ in the Crimea, working as librarian at a sanatorium, giving lectures at the People’s University, and doing translations. She published in almanacs and newspapers in Koktebel’ and Feodosia; 1923 – she returned to Moscow with the help of M. Voloshin and K. Chukovskii; 1924 – her collection “Poslednuie stikh” (Final Verses) is published; August 6, 1924 – her death. Solov’eva is buried in the Novodevichii Cemetery in Moscow. |

20 марта 1867 г. - родилась в семье известного историка, ректора Московского университета Сергея Михайловича Соловьева. Была последним, двенадцатым ребенком; 1880-е гг. - занималась в Школе живописи, ваяния и зодчества в классе И. Прянишникова и В. Поленова. Впоследствии сама иллюстрировала все свои книги; 1885 г. - дебютировала стихотворением в журнале «Нива»; 1895 г. - в журнале "Русское богатство" впервые появились стихи Соловьевой, подписанные псевдонимом Allegro, который позже сама Соловьева считала неудачным; 1899 г. – вышел первый сборник «Стихотворения», после которого Соловьева вошла в столичные литературные круги, посещала знаменитые литературные «пятницы» К. Случевского, сблизилась с писателями-символистами; 1906-1913 гг. - издавала вместе с Н.И. Манасеиной журнал для детей «Тропинка», позже создала одноименное издательство; 1900-1910 гг. - выходят ее сборники стихотворений «Иней» (1905), «Плакун-трава» (1909), «Вечер» (1914), книга рассказов «Тайная правда» (1912), стихотворная повесть «Перекресток» (1913); 1916 – 1923 гг. - жила в Коктебеле, работала библиотекарем при санатории, читала лекции в Н |
