Robert Jfarrcll COUNCILMAN, 8TH DISTRICT (Etig (Emmcti RECEIVED (tttty of ^L'^Ie* APR 22 1991 fflttg JJtall W.C.'s OFFICE 00012 19 April 1991 Warren Christopher, Esq. 400 South Hope Street Los Angeles, CA 90071-2899 Dear Coitirdssioner Christopher, Thank you for agreeing to have a representative of your commission come to the 8th District Neighborhood Assembly's monthly meeting Saturday morning 27 April at 10 a.m. It will meet at the Greater Bethany Community Church, 8428 South Hoover Street (just north of the intersection of Hoover Street and Manchester Avenue). My director of field operations, Curren Price, is available to coordinate any arrangements, 485-7616. My intent is that the commission representative would speak, just describing the entity and its charge, then being available to answer questions. The time requirement should run no longer than 30-45 minutes, though the representative is welcome to stay the day with us. You can see from the attached letter that police service is the day's theme, with a presentation from newly appointed Deputy Chief Matt Hunt, south bureau LAPD commander, the featured speaker. Our Assembly will close and convene as a community based reception welcoming Chief Hunt back to our community; he served here while at Southwest. I appreciate your help, and will be available to assist as the commission progress for and conducts its work in the south Los Angeles communities. Sincerely, JjeL -duMtlL ROOM 380, CITY HALL, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA 90012 485-3331
