(Nothing like Police- Insanity was supposed to happen in Plato1s-Hepublic, written 2,500-years ago. Although Plato knew much about base-man, he failed to understand rascality 1 don't believe he even mentioned it. By the way, my Publically-funded-Rascality file is only about 2-years old.) 'Big-News, Indeed, but there have been moments of other big news in history. Human institution have a way of digesting such news. We cannot predict the future, but the past gives us little assurance that the LAPD will be reformed in the slightest." "Why does the Heroin-addict go back to his suffering, 3-dav, drug-hangovers", is the same order of; question to me as , "Why do policemen ao back to violent-attacks on this city's citizens*. But you say these two things are not the same, and if your mind is very-small you will add with| superior-intellectual-indignation, "#7 God, that is like comparing apples and Oranges.H But, mark my words, for out of my naive-mind I declare devoutly, like a Puritan reciting the j word-of-the-Lord, that the truth of my assertion is self-evident, and for the life of me, J don't know why you can't see it. "Now, stop mocking the Human-Race. Put on your mantle of high-seriousness and assume \an authoritative demeanor, just as if you knew what you were talking about. But in\ any event be serious. If you are not serious, your are nothing in this world of trivial concerns". Yes, we need to be serious, for this is indeed a serious subject. It deals with the things in Human-Nature of which massacres are made. It lies within the darkest regions of every Human-Heart, inexplicable, unexamined, lethal, and bewildering. Let us begin again. It is quiet clear, from the four mentioned examples, that we have here a clear case of of an attack by a pack-of-hungry-animals, by a clearly defined sub-order of individuals, not unlike the predation of la pack-of-hungry-wild-dogs or a pack-of-hungry-wolves. This is really nothingmore than a throwback to our caveman-period of existence, a throwback which is inexplicable, unexamined, lethal, and bewildering.
