Durring those evenings it occured to me that Mr. Tribble was very quick to judge others. He often stated, with cold sincerity, that if he ever caught anyone sleeping with his wife, he would shoot them both. 1 was appauled and stated, "He obviously must not love her if he could do something like that to her, and that if he didn't love her he should not have married her in the first place." ]k. On or about Aug 27, 1980, Charles and Winnie Dirks invited us to their home in Wilsonia for dinner. David Tribble went with us. Chuck was showing all of us his new burgular alarm system when David commented, "If I ever caught a burgular in my home, I would kill him!" Chuck Dirks was surprised and said that, "My material things are not worth someone's life. I can always purchase more things, but I can't replace someone's life." 15. On or about Aug. 28, 1980 Mr. Cap Schleigh wished to speek with Mr. Tribble about cutting and sawing wood for him and his family at Upper Weston Meadow. Lois typed the agreement for Mr. Tribble. 16. On or about Sept. 5, 1980 Mr. Tribble began work for Cap and Helen Schleich. I loaned Mr. Tribble my 1967 Chevrolet truck and camper, at no charge, which was driven to the immediate vicinity of Cap and Helen Schleigh's cabin at Upper Weston Meadow. 1 was to assist Mr. Tribble in the logging opperation for a one-fourth share of Mr. Trlbble's three-fourth's share of the lumber sawed. 17. On or about Sept. 12, I38O it became necessary for me to make a trip to Southern California on apartment business. My two or three day trip took longer to complete. I returned home on or about Sept. 19* 1980. 18. On or about Sept. 20, I98O David came to our Wilsonia home and told me that he had to find someone else to replace me. He did not want to offend me because he stated that he still wanted to be friends with both Lois and I. I assured him that I had enough lumber for my needs and that there was plenty of my own work to do to get winter ready and that I understood and was not
