Photograph of an aerial view of Brunton Studio, and its surroundings, 1918. The studios are at left, identified by several large buildings which are likely sound stages; to the right of these is a lot full of movie sets, and right of this lot is a large field with only a few trees and several meandering paths. Tree-lined Melrose Avenue can be seen on the right side of the studio, and beyond this road are the dense buildings of the city of Los Angeles. Additional information: The land west and north of Brunton is the Hollywood Cemetery which was established in 1899. Across Melrose at the South-East corner of Melrose and Van Ness is Billy Clune's studio.
