WAR COMMUNIQUE report from the military front TETE FEB! During the period between 18th January and 24th April, 1971, 10th CHITENGO 2 — (partial report) FRELIMO guerrillas in TETE attacked and 18th Rd. MAGUE-CHICOA 3 1 partially destroyed 9 Portuguese posts, killed 133 soldiers, 28th KATONDO 1 — destroyed 20 military vehicles, blew up the bridge over river MAR. Mutsessa and captured a large amount of war equipment. 3rd KATONDO 3 - In addition, on the 24th April, one military vehicle was blown 10th NKANYA 6 - up and 3 Rhodesian soldiers were killed in the zone of Siciko. 15th VILA- GAMITO ? 2 They had entered Mozambique to help the Portuguese soldiers 17th Rd. CAUNDA-MABVUDZI ? 1 of the post of Mukumbura which was being attacked by our guerrillas. 23rd APR. Rd. TETE-MARARA 4 1 6th Rd.
