much why v/e have decided to adopt" One man One Guri! as the only
channel to solve the political situation of our country of birth
Mozambique, especially white colonialists who regard us as terr-
orits v/hen v/e wage an armed struggle against Portuguese imperialism
and colonialism. The actual fact is that, the present situation
in Mozambique today is not in any way different from that which
prevailed in those days when the Portuguese v/ere engaged in slavery. We the African people today, have discovered and regained
our lost destiny and v/e are no more going to allow ourselves, to
be drawers of water and hev/ers of wood any more. Time and again,
v/e have been advocating for equal status in our country of birth,
but the reaction of the Portuguese to our request is to be shot
or imprisoned. When v/e claim for higher pcy, v/e ore shot by the
imperialists. Then we claim for more schools in order to educate
our children we are machine guned by the imperialists soldiers
and the people begin to wonder what the government means by stating that their mission in Africa is a civilizing mission.
When we claim for reformes in the government wc are imprisoned or detained in unhealthy places to silence us.

that we can deliberate in the affairs of our country, v/e are shot
or sent to prison and undergoing tortures of the .worst kind in
prison dugeons, as if the government is by Hitler.
Vhen v/e claim for tho abrogation of discrimination, v/e are
replied through violence. When we oppose the government we tare
murdered by the Pide. When you argue with a Portuguese you are
whipped. Is that not violence which is being practised by the
civilized government in disguise of the Portuguese Imperialists ?
Wo have been for a quite long timq'approaching the government in
a peaceful manner, but we ore replied through violence. The laws
