It is obvious to our people that independence cannot come by itself ,but the people haveft. to fight for it,just as other Africans did,
where a large number of people lost their lives as a price for their
independence.
The exemple set by other African States serves as a guidance to our
people.Luring the v/ar of liberation in Algeria,Imperialist and thftir
lackeys used to say many things to decive the African people,and all
these theories can no longer be used to our people.Thus our people are
aware now of all imperialist intrigues.No one should consider us to be
blood thirsty by waging a war against Portugal.We &£&& consider the
presence of Portuguese administration in Mozambique as a threat to peace ,and as such we being peace loving &&&&Q&&&&  Nation,we want to see
Portugal out of our Country. And there can be no peace as  long as some
parts of Africa are still harbouring imperialist forces.We did not want
war,but because Portugal could not listen to our plea on handing over
the Government of our Country to us,we had no ontion,but to take the
next solution which is expensive to both sides.
Coremo has sc far been able to have the war fought on three fronts
The first is the Tete Distric,the second in Beira Distric,the third is
in wuelimane District,and in all these fronts,the war is getting bigger
and bigger despite the mass torturing and killing of our people by  the
Portuguese forces,We are heroically fighting against this barbaric regime *ks  a result of our continous fight,some officers in the ranks of the
Portuguese Government are getting demoralised.The resignation of the
Govenor of the Manica e Sofala Province is an unquestionable fact of
dissatisfaction within the barbaric Government of Salazer v/hich is daily
losing in all her colonies.
It .should be from these facts that Salazer should base his arguments of whether he has the support of his closest man.Further more this
dissatisfecvtion in the Government of Salazer can be seen in Lisbon the
Capital of Portugal,v/here 3,^00 men who under the cover of wage increa-
ment and better working conditions went on strike this year,during v/hich
the dictator Salazer employed his thugs to suppress the v/orkers v/ho had
asked for better standard of living together with their families,and a
better government v/hich could look into the affairs of their people
with sympathy. Coremo appeals to the v/orkers in Portugal to continue
struggling for their rights. So as there a start there v/ill also be an
end to all the problems you are facing.
