In the Northern Pronvince,our guerrillas wiped out 7 Portuguese soldiers and arrested 3 African soldiers oy  the follwing naoiess

During the operations 2 imeriean made pistol plus 35 round of ammunition were captured plus 3 bicyles.
The Portuguese imperilist and savege have not kept ^uite after our
revolutionary activities they have carried and massive campaign of indiscriminate killing and torturing og which over 170 people have been killed
in the Tete District and Manica e sofala alone and about 75 in  the Rissa
District and over 5000 innocent men,women and children have been arrested
during October to December,1965,in the Tete Distric thousands have rad int
the mountains and ovei 25oo have crossed the borders to the Republic of
Gambia. ,
The people of fcozambiaque who are led by the Mozambique Revolutionary •
Committee(COEEMO)are on the macrh to freedom and happiness,and the only
path that the people have chosed is that bloodshed,this path is traditional path mor.t of our heroes have used to achieve most of their ends from
all these elements that have tried in the past to be  hostile to need.'; of
our glorious heroes.Our struggle for our Ntional Liberation shall continue until the last Dortugueseis is driven from our beloved Motherland.If

Our Revolutionary Struggle began when the first Portuguese dessembar-
ked in our counrty and has been gaining stregeth ever since.Today is
constitutes a logic seuuel to the events that have fashioned the new fa^e
of the Continent of Africa and will continue until this face is entirely
free from blemishes.Along our borders the colonialist are thrying to put
up a barrier against the wind of freedom which is blowing across our. Continent.But sooner or letter this barrier must crumble,thanks to our
determination,our will-power and the assistance that we may get from
friends in arms throughout the World.

For the sake of consolidating unity proclaimed and established by the
people of Mozambique eleven month ago' ind   after deep analysiis of the
prevailing situation in our armed revolutionary struggle,the first annual confrence of CQEBMO was convened from the 12th May;1966 with aims and
objects of rederessing our internal and &£&&& international policies in
conformity v/ith current internal and international situations.
, The confrence deliberations were conducted in patriotic and revolutionary spirit with much emphasis in intesifying the armed struggle at
home.
It wasageneral opinion of delegates attending the confrence that the
continuation of investment by foreign industrialists in ^ozambi^ue is a
nacked colaboration v/ith Portuguese fascist colonial administration
gainst the african people of Mozambique and freedom loving people and
nations of the World and therefore COXSEkO shall sxage a complete distru-
ction of all propaties of these industrialists but we assure them
smooth continuation of their investigates only after the liberation of
Mozambique and it shall be  in accordance with the laws of free Mozambique
Government.
