COMITE REVOLUCIONARIO DE MOCAMBIQUE " Mozambique Revolutionary Commitee " / (COREMO) PRESS CONFERENCE ® After a series of fruitfull discussions amongst Mozambique National Liberation Movements, held in cordial and Patriotic atmosphere, an agreement was reached by the MOZAMBIQUE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC UNION (UDENAMO), MONOMOTAPA NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC UNION (UDENAMO) and the MOZAMBIQUE AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS (MANC) to sincerely absorb themselves into a new UNITED BODY namely the MOZAMBIQUE REVOLUTIONARY COMMITTE ( COREMO ) which shall be the only body to solely PIONEER the armed struggle in Mozambique and ask for Moral, Diplomatic, Financial and NATERIAL support from friendly Peoples and Nations of the world in order to annihilate once and forever the tyrannical Portuguese Colonial Regime from our country. The beginning of the consolidation of National UNITY became a reality with the formation of the PROVISIONAL ACTION COUNCIL of the new Body. COREMO is not a United Front but an absolute organisation with direct adhesion by all Mozambicans ready to fight and sacrifice for our Freedom. COREMO shall consciouly pursue a POLICY of Positive Neutrality and Non-Alignment in Internationcl Conflicts and COLD WAR, but shall always stand .for the TRUTH and for the Peoples Just Cause. COREMO'S Internal POLICY shall be of a " Fierce Fight against the Portuguese Oppressors and Exploiters '' and shall align with all the progressives and popular forces against diversified reactionaries and their Colonialist and Imperialist masters. COREMO shall seek Freedom, Total and unconditional National Independence from the Portuguese Colonial Regime by all possible means at our disposal and shall meet Peace with Peace and if this is not permissible, then, we shall do what our enemies will compel us to do. COREMO is a Pan-Africanist A4ovement end shall respect the Principles of the Organisation for African Unity Charter. COREMO shall work in co-operation and collaboration with all Freedom Movements in Africa, Asian and Latin America and the world as a whole, and shall always regard Asian and Latin American Peoples and Nations as our part and parcel in the struggle for Peoples' Emancipation and World Peace, Justice Prosperity and Happiness. COMITE REVOLUCIONARIO DE MOCAMBIQUE / " Mozambique Revolutionary Committee " (COREMO) At the Extraordinary Session of the Preparatory Committee of the MOZMBIQUE REVOLUTIONARY COMMITTE (COREMO) held at the COREMO'S Headquarters in Lusaka - REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA form the 15th to 17th June, 1965; attended by all the six members of the Preparatory Committee and their respective National Presidents of the MONOMOTAPA NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC UNION (UDENAMO ), MOZAMBIQUE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC UNION ( UDENAMO) the Acting President of the MOZAMBIQUE AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS (MANC), and other accredited representatives of the above mentioned organisations, the following RESOLUTIONS were unanimously adopted :- — 2 —
