NaME The name of the United Front shall be, "FRSE1E UNIDA AI-TI BTJRIALISTA POPULAR ikFRIUAHA Dfc IScCAMBiqjJfi (FOTIPAMC) (Mo^AMEIMUE AFRICAN Pt£?LES« aNTI IMPERIALIST UNITED FRONT.) Thereafter referred to as the "ggLET". 2. INTRODUCTION FUMIPAMU is peoples' Front and semi-Political Organisation composed of all patriotic forces of Mozambique to struggle united against imperialism, colonialism and neo-colonialism. Z- OFFICE:The National Headquarters of the Front shall be in legal capital of Mozambique, but while it operates in exile, the provisional headquarters shall be in any capital of East and central Africa, or any ply whioh may be deemed suitable by the National Council. 4. MEMBERSHIP; Membership to the Front is only open to all African political parties, peasants, workers, youth,- strud'rrnts"and--women -crganrs-ations,- . cultural organisations, tribal and worship associations, clan chiefs etc9,and. their power elements provided to have been originated and under the leader-hip of indigenous of Mozambique Africans. > 5' AIMS AND OBJECTS... The aims and object's of the Front are* — . (a) To unite all patriotic forces to* a single militant force for liberating Mozambique from foreign domination and colonial rule by-all means as soon as possible. (b) Constitute African Peoples' democratic and republican Government,. (c) To provide a midium through v/hich the people of Mozambique can promote their political., economic, educational; cultural and social development. (d) To enlighten world opinion'on the conditions obtaining in Mozambique and bring to the notice of the entire civilized world the true nature of the Portuguese oppression in Mozambique. (e) To establish v/orkers organisations; such as trade unions, social and welfare in and outside Mozambique for the interest of the people of Mozambique. (f) To seek moral, material, and assistance from Independent African States in the struggle for liberation of our motherland - f,M0^AM3I^USfT. (g) To accelerate military and political training to our Cadres. (h) Aid of any kind from freedom loving countries can be accepted provided no strings attached to such aid. 6« LEADERSHIP- The leadership on the Front is excercised jointly and the affiliated organisations shall send their representatives to take posts in the United Front and shall be under full uontrol of their organ. 7. OFFICE BEARERS - Ta~5 The list of the Office Bearers of the Front shall consist of _- Joint Presidents. Joint Secretaries General and Financial Controllers. Directors of Information and Cultural Bureau. Joint Directors of Allied Forces and Deputies Financial Controllers. (b) Duties assigned to office bearers shall be - One Joint President shall manage Ministry of Security and Defence, and One Joint President shall manage Ministry of Public Relations and administrations, one of the joint Presidents shall be elected as Chairman of each executive•Committee, and National Executive Council meetings. contd./page*2 p.t.o.
