Premier Chou En-lai Receives Mozambique Guests Peking, April 11 (Hsinhua) — Premier Chou En-lai this afternoon received the members of the visiting delegation from the Mozambique Liberation Front led by Uria Simango Vice President of the Front. They had a friendly, cordial conversation. Li Yi-mang, Vice President of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs, was among those present. ********* / RUSSIAN JOURNALISTS IN MOZAMBIQUE Our militants in Mozambique have been asking us many questions about the visit that two Soviet journalists, correspondents for* Pravda, made to Mozambique last March. The reason for the questions is this: Nearly all journalists who have visited Mozambique and Angola — most of them Americans, Belgians and West Germans — go there with so many preconceived ideas and so influenced by the imperialistic policies of their governments, that their reports are a complete distortion of.reality. They say that in Mozambique there is "racial equality", "peace and calm", "progress for the people" — tilings that the Mozambican know are not true, and that exist only in the imagination of these journalists. On the other hand, Russia has been presented by us to our people as a friendly country, a country which since the first has always been on our side, a country truly interested in the success of our revolution. For this reason, our people are strongly interested in knowing v/hat the Soviet journalists said about Mozambique and the conditions of life of the Mozambican people under Portuguese colonial domination.
