-5- are being shot to death if they defend their wive^. Thousands of suspected people and those the PIDE inform/men and women, are beeing jailed and hundreds of them killed. This deep-seated conflict has only one solution, 6he granting of independence. This nauseating rule, oppression, domination, will be uncompromisingly resisted by us, if giving our lives becomes necessary we shall do it with much pleasure. Within this month alone the following arrests have place - 50 in Zumbo, Tete district; 5 at Espungabera, 25 in Beira, 2 at Vila Fontes, in Manica and Sofala district, 7 at Zavala, in Inbambane district; 70 at Cobwe, in Niassa district; and in many other areas from where information has not yet reached us. To expedite our independence all Mozambicans bre colled upon to unite, to act, to act together, to act once* It must be realised that although FRELIMO is such a huge, popular and strong organisation with maximum conditions to bring independence to Mozambique, it can have difficulties in doing so if the co-operation of all here requested does not receive a good response. Every Mozambican has a sacred duty for his country, to fight for its complete independence. It is a crime for any Mozambican to be indifferent, to sit idly, doing nothing for the liberation of our country. LONG LIVE THE STRUGGLE FOR THE LIBERATION OF AFRICA! LONG LIVE THE STRUGGLE FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF MOCAMBIQUEt LONG LIVE THE UNITY .OF THE MOZAMBICAN PEOPLE 1 AWAY WITH THE PORTUGUESE BARBARISM AND COLONIALISM* LONG LIVE FRELIMO'. 00O00. THE PRESIDENT OF FRELIMO VISITED GHANA Upon the invitation of the Ghana Government, Dr.Mondlane, President of FRELIMO, accompanied by P.Mocumbi, Head of the Information Department of FRELIMO, visited Accra during the first week of March. The delegation of FRELIMO was received by President NKRUMAH with whom they had very cordial talks. Mozambican Revolution wishes that this event will strengthen the friendship betwen the peoples of Ghana and Mozambique and thus manifest concretely the Pan-Africanism which both Ghana and FRELIMO have always defended. . Our people, who are engaged in a struggle against the Portuguese colonialism, need concrete help in order to achieve our National independence and freedom as soon as possible. In the next bulletin we will give you more informations about this visit and the impressions of our delegation. 000 0 J
