I Management Personnel Services D i v i s i o n . T h e new Division consists of five sections: (l) Management Man- ; power Service; (2) Operations Section IV; (3) Examining !I Standards; (4) Special Projects; and (5 ) Manpower II Utilization. Operations Section IV was taken from the General Personnel Services Division of the Board, Chart 4, describes this reorganization at the State Personnel Board. Announcing the responsibilities of the new Division, the memorandum said: The major responsibilities of the new Management Personnel Services Division are to provide leadership in improving the quantity and quality of current and potential managers in the State service by development, evaluation, and implementation of programs designed to accomplish these objectives. All Career Executive Assignment Classes.will be assigned to this Division within the next few months. The Management Manpower Service section of the new Division is signlfleant in terms of our interest in the Training Division. It was headed by Leon Lefebvre, who was the Assistant State Training Officer in the Training Division. The position of the Assistant State Training officer was abolished in the Training Division when Lefebvre was withdrawn to head the Management Manpower Service Section of the new Division. This section was expected to be staffed by nine technical persons who would 117John P.
