CHAPTER IV PERSONAL INTERVIEWS AND CORRESPONDENCE Before, during, and after the questionnaire survey of former bank employees there were periodic interviews with leading bank officers. These interviews were arranged for the following purposes: 1. Discussing the problem 2. Requesting selected personnel statistics considered pertinent to the study 3. Keeping the various bank managements up-to-date on the results of the survey 4. Obtaining personal opinions and observations concerning the final results of the survey and the over-all study itself No bank officers1 names are mentioned in connection with these interviews, however, a list of those men and women interviewed may be found in the bibliography. Through personal correspondence and current literature, information was obtained pertaining to part-time employment programs utilized by some banks outside of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.
