Description | Palma, West Los Angeles, 2002. Poseidon School, 11811 West Pico Boulevard (mural on Barrington Avenue), West Los Angeles. "The center image is of an educator and represents the teaching and learning that takes place at Poseidon School. The figure is surrounded by historical landscapes related to the Pico Boulevard area, such as Japanese gardens and the California coast. There are also symbols and images of local indigenous cultures. The artist is based in Washington, D.C. G. Byron Peck, artist, assisted by Shayna Cohen, Marmot, A. J. Slaqter, Alex Leslie, Kara Enger, Michael Geazarez, Natalie Prystay.
