Note: Viele der in diesem Abum enthaltenen Photos sind nicht von Ghana, wurden aber vermutlich von Ramseyer auf seinen Reisen erstanden. Andere Photos wiederum sind zwar aus Ghana, wurden aber nicht von Ramseyer gemacht, weshalb sie nicht genau datiert werden können. Es wird jedoch angenommen, dass alle Bilder vor Ramseyers endgültigen Ausreise aus Ghana (1908) gemacht wurden. - Die Bildlegenden im Album wurden von Ramseyer geschrieben. Bei ausführlichen Angaben wurde der Text bei 'annotations' eingetragen. (PST). -; Note translation: There are a few photos in this album which are not from Ghana but from Madeira, the Canary Islands. They were probably collected by Ramseyer during his travels. Note the group of photos of the Asantehene taken in the Seychelles (0148-0151). Other photos from Ghana may have been taken by someone other than Ramseyer, but most likely before he left Ghana, i.e. earlier than 1908. - The captions in the album were probably all written by Ramseyer himself. Very long and detailed captions have been recorded in this database under 'annotations'. In view of the photographs from the Asantehene's exile in the Seychelles this is probably chronologically the most recent of the Ramseyer albums in our collection.
