(BFN, 27.03.2000).; Note translation: Peter Horner helped with the determination of the photo-technology used to produce the prints (1991). - According to Rev Ruth Epting this album was put together after her parents returned from Ghana, i.e. between 1909 and 1914 (BFN 27.03.2001). - The album was loaned us by Rev. Ruth Epting, who permitted us to include the images in our electronic system. The Album belonged to her parents, Karl and Johanna Epting. It consists of a good selection of photographs of the work of the Basel Mission in early 20th century Ghana, and is especially strong on building work, for which Karl Epting was responsible.
