Check against his book!" - The album seems indeed to have been something like the basis for Ramseyer's publication of 1895, even the order of the photographs corresponds to that of the images in the book. (DS 09.2000).- "The book" referred to here is 'Achtzig Ansichten von der Goldküste (Westafrika) nach Originalaufnahmen des Missionars Fritz Ramseyer' (= 'Eighty pictures of the Goldcoast (West Africa) by the missionary Fritz Ramseyer'), Neuenburg 1895. NB however, many of the earlier photographs in QD-30.043 are also in the same order as the published album (PJ 08.2002). - NB by no means all the images in this album have been co-ordinated ("Same Image") with the other places in which they occur in this collection.
