Note translation: Judging by the structure of the "Official series" we would expect this file to contain photographs from Kalimantan taken by Basel missionaries in the decades following their takeover of this mission field. The photographs which have been catalogued and are not in the image-base were taken, in the judgement of the project staff, after 1945, though it seems on second thoughts that a number of images of medical work which have not been included in the image-bank must date back to before 1940.
