Datierung nach datiertem Bild von Richter und nach Doubletten, die sich in QQ-30.021 befinden. Engere Datierung eventuell 1855 - 1875. (BFN, 11.1998).; Note translation: All the pages are lying loose between the covers of the album. The carboard is dirty or frayed in places. There are some ugly pencil marks (arrows). QC-30.015.0021 has been inserted into a page from which another picture has been removed. Some images are duplicates, above all of photographs in QC-30.016. The Album was probably put together by the Inspector of the Basel Mission (Josenhans) (see the comment in the MS archive to QC-30.016). Dating: guided by a comparison with QQ-30.021 and by reference to photographs which we we know were taken by the earliest Basel missionary to practice photography in India, C.G. Richter. A more precise dating would probably be possible (1855-75?). (BFN 11.1998).
