In the first row, in the middle: Miss Mercoiret, Mr. Ferrand (to whom the "mpianaty my tempo" came to say goodbye) and Mr. Prunet (who came to take over the leadership of the district). Some Hova, two or three Betsiléo and many Betsimisaraka are there.; The Hova is the name of the most important part of the Merina people. The Betsileo are a highland ethnic group of Madagascar. And the Betsimisaraka are the second largest group in Madagascar.
