The law of Newspapers.
1. Subscribers who do not give express notice
o the contrary, are considered as wishing to continue their subscription.
2. If subscribers order their papers dis-continued.
Publishers may continue to send them until all
charges are paid.
3. If subscribers neglect or refuse to take their
papers Irom the office or place to which thi y nre
sent, they are held responsible until tliey settle
their account, and give notice to discontinue them.
4. Il subscribes remove to other places without
informing the Publishers, and the paper is sent to
the former direction, they are held responsible.
5. The Courts have decider that refusing to take
a paper or periodical from the office, 01 removing
and leaving it uncalled for,isj>rinia/acta ev dence
of intentional fraud.
Postmasters would oblige, by a strict fulfillment
of the regulations requiring them to notify Publishers, once in three months, of papers not.taken
from their office by subscribers.
