Description	Photographic postcard of an aerial drawing of "Golden Gate International Exposition - 1939, San Francisco Bay, #2573", 1939. Boats float in the water in the right foreground while automobiles drive along the street at left. Large buildings of various shapes decorate the land at center. A tower can be seen at left. Mountains stand across the background.; CHS-43277A (back of postcard) -- Original postcard message reads: "Dear Auntie, I thought this might interest you. It is going to be a beautiful exposition. Flashily, Helen." The post card is addressed to: "Mrs. Thos. O'Hallaran, 4480 Hortensia Way, San Diego, Calif." A later handwritten note on the post card reads: "Helen likes to send things like this to me. I thought it might interest William. Frank." Handwritten caption reads: "Expositions - U.S. - San Francisco, 1939." The postmark reads: "San Francisco, Calif. 19386, Mar 24, 11:30 AM, buy U.S. savings bonds, ask your postmaster". Postage stamp shows a profile image of Benjamin Franklin facing left with "Unites States Postage, Franklin" in the frame around his image, "cent" below his image, and "1" below and flanking his image.
