CONSTITUTION
NAME AND HEADQUARTERS :
I - NAME: The name of this Organisation shall be "FRENTE
DE LIBERTAÇÃO DE MOÇAMBIQUE (FRELIMO).
II - HEADQUARTERS: The Headquarters of FRELIMO shall be
in Lourenço Marquesi
III - AIMS^AND^OJECTS:
AIMS: FRELIMO is a political organisation consisting
of Moçambicana with no discrimination of sex, ethnic
origin, religious creed or locality of domicile»
IV - THE ppjECTS OF FRELIMO ARE:
- A total liquidation of Portuguese Colonial domination
and of all vestiges of colonialism and imperialism*
- The achievement of immediate and complete Independence in Moçambique.
- To. defend and realise the aspiration of the Mocambio axl people which have been exploited and oppressed by the Portuguese regime.
V      In order to achieve such objects FRELIMO will :
- Proclaim the necessity of unity to all Moçambican
people.
- Organise, mobilise and unite all Moçcarabcans.
VI - The Front reserves the right of uniting with other
organisations in the anti^-colonialist struggle of
all countries under Portuguese domination, to form
a united FRONT for fighting against Portuguese
Colonialism, in order tobring about its total
liquidation; to adhere to a Regional African
Organisation, a Pan-African Organisation, Afro-
Asian and other Organisations, that have as their
aims an anti—colonialist and anti-imperialist with
a view to\the emancipation of the people*
VJI  - i^MBERSHIP:
All Moçarabicans who agree with the programme of
FRELIMO, and pledge themselves to support its
policies, may become members of FRELIMO.
VIII - Each member must pay his dues regularly.
IX - Each member shall belong directly to a cell.
