Your Excellence,
The II Congress of FRELIMO highly appreciates the
support that the people and the government rf Tanzania have
always given to the struggle cf the Mozambican people.
The acceptance of the establishment of FRELIMOTs external headquarters since 1962, the accommodation given to
Mazambican refugees at special camps in Tanzania, the material aid, as well as the political support accorded to us
by the Tanzanian people, in particular through the African
Liberation Committee of the Organisation of African Unity,
are the concrete expression of a highly revolutionary spirit
tf African solidarity that the Mozambican people will never
ftrget.
Because of their solidarity with the Mozambican people,
the pecple of Tanzania have often been victims of aggressions
from the Portuguese colonialists. Several Tanzanian brothers
have been killed, and some wounded as a result of those
aggressions.
At this very moment of our meeting in Cengress, news
have come to us that once more the Portuguese colonialists
have attacked Tanzanian territory.
The Mtzambican people, meeting in Congress, vehemently
csndemn the criminal aggressions committed by the Portuguese
colonialists against the people and the territory of Tanzania, and pay their homage to the Tanzanian brothers who have
fallen victims of colonialist aggiession and who will forever remain martyrs of the African revolutionary solidarity.
